Itās a snowy morning here in Gananoque, as I sit in our kitchen watching the snow fall.
I have created a list of tips and tricks to ensure you have the best success with our candles!Ā You will have likely seen these before, but I am here to tell you it makes a HUGE difference in the life of a candle, not to mention fire safety.
1. Donāt extinguish the pillar or jar candle until there is a full wax pool on the surface. This will take a few hours, so if you are running out the door in 20 minutes save the candle for another time |
|
2. Keep the wick trimmed to Ā¼ inch. The best time to trim the wick is right before you light the candle each time. Also remove any debris from the surface of the candle, including the wick trimmings |
3. It's best practice to not leave a candleĀ burning for longer than 3- 4 hours 4. Be careful handling the candles, the jars get quite hot 5. Be sure to burn candles in suitable holders! There are a few for sale on our website |
