2024 Nucs !
our Nucs are sold as 4 frames, one containing honey and pollen, 2 frames of brood in various stages of development, and a frame of drawn comb for the queen to lay eggs in.  All Nucs are assembled by me, and have one of our mated queens

Our breeding program is focusing on colonies which demonstrate hygienic behaviour,  low varroa mite growth and strong overwintering outdoors in Ontario. This 2024 season, I will be once again be a participating member of the Ontario Resistant Honey Bee Selection program (ORHBS) who will have the Tech Transfer Program (TTP) out to our bee yards to determine hygienic behaviour and low varroa growth.
